Last week I went into LUSH, as I do. This time though, I went in for a very special reason. I went in to have a peruse and buy some items from the LUSH Limited Easter Collection. Walking into the store it was as if Easter had already started. Greeted as usual by the wonderful scents my eyes also spied all the bunnies, eggs and carrots on the main display table. Unlike the Christmas Collection, there were only a small amount of goodies to find for the East Collection. Luckily for me it had been pay day the night before and I managed to pick up all the cute and wonderful things that I wished.
Pot o’ Gold Shower Jelly || $7.90 for 100g pot.
This is a very sweet, vanilla smelling shower jelly and the first of its kind that I have tried. It was really hard to even get a small piece out of the jelly with just my fingers and quite slippery once wet. However when using it to wash my body it left it feeling smooth and moisturized as well as cleansed.
Bunch of Carrots Bubble Bar || $11.90 per bunch
These are seriously so cute and quite easy to use. I decided to just break a little bit off the end of one of the carrots and crumble it under running water. You can see above where I broke off the piece. These carrots smell like lemon and of course carrots! The amount of carrots in the bunch varies from 3 to 4 depending on the size of the carrots but will equal 150 grams.
Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb || $7.90 for 300g
The Fluffy Egg bath bomb is another sweet scented product. It reminds me a lot of the Christmas Snow Fairy scent. I haven’t tried this one out yet but it is quite weighty. The mixture of smells is described on the LUSH New Zealand website as being a mixture of jelly beans, candy floss and marshmallows. Mmm sounds delicious! Now I’m craving sweet things!
Immaculate Eggception-Pink Bath Bomb ||$14.90 for 255 g
This is egg-ception! Such a pretty bath bomb on the outside which you crack open (with a knife) to see a little solid yellowchick or bunny in the inside. I got the chick!! I have used half of this in a bath already. I did make a bit of a mess trying to “crack” it open but its worth it for an awesome pink bath!.
Golden Egg Bath Melt || $7.90 for 150g
OMG you can probably guess that this one is going to be one of the ones I am most excited to use. It’s gold, and glittery and so beautiful!! Another one that reminds me a bit of Snow Fairy but is actually scented after Honey I Washed the Kids soap. I will be storing this one for a while just to look at it. Be aware that when you pick it up the gold glitter transfers everywhere. Personally I like it, but I know others won’t. I was actually surprised at how reasonably priced it was. I didn’t buy the full Easter collection due to not liking some of the scents, so I ended up buying two of these so I could give one to my cousin.
Most of the things I’ve bought are out of stock online and selling out fast instore so you’d better get in quick!!
What are you most excited about for the LUSH Easter Collection? Let me know if you try any of the other Easter Collection products too!
