So turns out I totally forgot to do a round up of May so I thought I would just mash it together with June’s “in retrospect”. Plus, now that I am working full-time I don’t have as much free time to have a hugely eventful life, which means June wasn’t hugely eventful. Yes this means you are in for a bit of a long post, BUT DON’T STOP READING YET! You’ll be grateful to know that it is only so long because I got a bit photo happy! Let’s get to it then, shall we?
As you will have read already, May saw me make a quick trip up to Auckland, at the Vector Arena, to go watch The Script with my friend Diana. I had such an awesome time even just spending time up in Auckland with Diana. I’ve never been a super huge fan of the Script (Ed is my number one guy) but after that concert, wow. Let’s just say I am now a converted fan of the Script and I no longer have awkwardly ask Diana which one is which, and what are their names?!? (Seriously, I had to do that on the night. I was referring to them as “the drummer guy”, “guy that plays the guitar” and “that singer guy with the long dress looking top on”. Yes I have since learned their names are Danny, Mark and Glen.) Their music has a lot of emotional profoundness and definitely speaks about important things to our generation. Anyway Danny was a huge crowd pleaser and knew how to get everyone excited for the concert. Plus Colton Avery, their opening act, wasn’t too shabby himself!
