I absolutely love the Queen Helene Mint Julep mask. I was put onto this by other lovely Beauty Review members and have love using it over the past month!!
I like to use this once or twice a week on my face and neck. It really ha helps minimise the oiliness of my skin, as well as my pores and leaves my skin feeling absolutely amazing!!
This was the first masque I have used at home and I think it did a really good job! It has a lovely minty smell and also is quite easy to apply, either with fingers or an old foundation brush. I like to leave mine on for about 15 minutes or until its dry/ whenever I can be bothered taking it off.
I have rather normal/slightly sensitive skin and this does sting a teensy bit when I put it on, but that fades rather quickly for me. However, I would definitely not recommend this for anyone with sensitive skin though as it will burn! I know this from attempting to use it on one of my good friends. However she said it was really burning so we took off the tester patch right away.*
Even so, my skin always feels soft and smooth after using the Mint Julep masque. So if you don’t have sensitive skin you should totally try this out. You can find it here of iHerb for $3.90 (USD + shipping). Make sure you use my discount code (MLH161) if it is your first purchase. You will get up to 10% off your order!
Tips: Don’t use if you have sensitive skin. Test with a little patch on you face or neck. Make sure you put on moisturiser after using it.
*I don’t want to put you off using the Queen Helene Masque’s though! If you want a good masque for sensitive skin I have a recommendation from my lovely BRA friend Sarah Barber, that the Queen Helene Mud Pack Masque with English Clay (also $3.90 USD) is really good!
