This month I have been on a bit of “Inspire Me” mission to get me ready for the year ahead. 2015 seems to be shaping up as a bit of a filler year, which isn’t completely ideal. However, in saying that I am quite excited about getting to do do quite a few things I have been wanting to do for ages! Anyway, today’s post is all about the things that help inspire me with my writing.
– A collage board
I made the collage board above at the end of last year when I was trying to figure out what made me, me and why I write my blog, and who I write it for. This board it stuck to the wall in front of my desk so I can see it everyday when I am writing.
– Nice notebooks
Have beautiful looking notebooks to write in always makes me feel better. I especially love this ‘Remember, ideas become things” yellow one I got from Whitcoulls and the Bokeh Eiffel Tower one from Typo. Both of them are amazing and keep all my blog and writing notes together. The yellow one also has different coloured pages and extra pages with quotes to keep you inspired as you go.
– Pretty coloured pens
Colours are very important to me as I love to colour code things as well as be able to doodle.
– Special writing pens (calligraphy pens)
I love the way my writing looks when I use calligraphy pens or the nice roller ball ink pens. There is just something a bit quaint and old fashioned about it that helps to inspire me.
