Natural Every Day Makeup Tutorial
I’ve had a couple of friends ask me to do a quick and natural looking makeup tutorial. I hadn’t realised but it’s been a while since I’ve done a makeup tutorial. So here goes today’s tutorial for a Natural Every Day Makeup tutorial. Anyone could probably do this look really quickly. For me, it takes 15 minutes max, and that’s if I am multi-tasking. The great thing is that all these products are cruelty-free too!
Start with the face
As always makeup sure your face is clean and that you have used toner to even the pH of your skin. I use the Lush Tea Tree Water as my regular toner. Apply a small amount of primer all over your face. Then cover any blemishes with concealer (Minx by Thin Lizzy and Medium by Collection Cosmetics). I like to use a bit of the Lush Feeling Younger Skin tint under my eyes as it reflects light and makes tired eyes look more awake. Lastly, apply bb cream or a sheer coverage powder foundation. I use the RoVie mineral foundation in Reese.
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit palette is by far my most used palette and I use every day that I wear make up. For this look, I used a small amount of the Mood Exposure blush (left bottom) on my cheeks. Then I apply the Luminous Bronze Light (bottom right) to give a slight contour under my cheekbones and in the crease of my eyelids. I also used the Luminous Flush (bottom middle) as an eyeshadow. To Finish off the face I used the Diffused Light (top right) under my eyes and Iridescent Light (Top Middle) as a highlighter on top of my cheekbones.
To finish off I use the Gerard Cosmetics lipstick 1995. For my eyebrows, I use the Australis Tint My Brows and then for my lashes I use the Australis Lash Extender Mascara.
See? It’s a pretty simple makeup look for everyday and honestly, takes no time at all. Have a look back at my old makeup tutorials if you want a more comprehensive run through of how to apply your foundation, blend your eyeshadow and contour.
