Sorry I’ve been a bit busy this past week with all the hustle and bustle of Christmas time. This year will be the first year I have spent Christmas with my extended family in quite some years so there is a lot of planning going on.
Anyway I wrote my very first review for NZgirl today!! So exciting!!! If you don’t already know about who and what NZgirl are here is there mission statement:
“Targeting 20 and 30 something females, nzgirl.co.nz has been the market leader in New Zealand digital media for more than a decade. First launched in 1999, the website has evolved into a social magazine where the community (aka YOU) create, share and find their favourite things faster.”
I was very lucky to be asked to be a part of their influencer panel and was sent free vouchers for the new McDonalds Wraps and salads, some of the new HEALTHY products, in return for a Influencer Review.
You guys should check it out and leave a comment to help me out!
I have also included the review below!
Anyway I will have a new blog post out next week in time for Christmas and actually its about Christmas!
See you next time! Over and out.
Are you crazy for Chicken? Is it you go to meat when eating out? Well here is a new, delicious and HEALTHY food for you from McDonalds!
Hey Everyone! So excited to be able to do this review and share my experience at McDonalds with you.
So today I was feeling rather hungry so I popped down to McDonalds for lunch and bought myself a Crispy Chicken & Aoli McWrap and a Mango & Pineapple Smoothie to go along with it and quench my thirst (one of the best smoothie combos in my opinion!). Dunring the summer I like to eat outside in the garden, especially at my Aunty’s house, which at this time of the year has flowers blooming everywhere as you can see in my picture up above.
Anyway on to the food! This Crispy Chicken & Aoli McWrap was one of the most delicious and healthiest foods that I have ever eaten at McDonalds! The creamy aoli really compliments the Chicken and the vegetables (Lettuce and Tomato). I haven’t tried any of the other sauce flavours yet but I chose aoli due to the fact that I recently discovered the tasty goodness of aoli this past year. The packaging that the wrap comes in is another big plus! The cardboard packaging has a easy tear away piece in the centre which makes it really easy to hold while you are eating. (remembering to take the larger piece off the top so you eat it up the right way!)
The only real downfall of these wraps is the pricing. At $8.90 for a really simple wrap it can be quite expensive for those looking for healthier options as it is so much cheaper to get a simple cheeseburger when all you are getting is 1 piece of Chicken and a few pieces of Lettuce and Tomato. But keep in mind that vegetables and Chicken do tend to be more expensive than the beef and cheese in a cheeseburger.
However I definitely think these are worth their price and I would totally recommend for all you gals (and any guys who happen to chance upon this review) to try these wraps over the summer holidays as the are amazing if you want something healthy and quick to eat. You won’t regret it!
