It’s that time of the year again in Lush stores across the world! It’s the time when you can find all sorts of Christmasy scented, wonderful body, bath and shower products in Lush stores. Well actually a lot of what I am going to share with you came out in stores at the beginning of October and I never got around to posting photos of my Christmas Lush Hauls. Instead today I want to share some new and different products that have come out in this years limited edition release or that I didn’t write about in my review of the 2014 Christmas Lush Collection.
Shoot for the Stars
$8.50 for 170g
I’d have to ask my brother what he thought of this one as he nicked it out of my basket! But the way that the Lush website describes makes it sound delicious! With Brazilian orange and bergamot it sounds like a gorgeous Christmasy bath time!
$7.90 for 170g
The crisp and delicate fragrance of Apple really makes So White live up to its namesake of Snow White! I had a real urge to watch Snow White will in this bath! You’ll be surprised by the red pink centre as it blooms before you!
$7.50 for 80g
I haven’t had a chance to use this bath bomb yet but I love the sound of the Fair Trade Ugandan vanilla and Peruvian rosewood. If it creates a starry bath like it promises then I’m sure I’ll love it!
Lord of Misrule
$7.90 for 100g
Vanilla is one of my absolute favourite scents and the smell of it mixed with the spicy black pepper oil and patchouli is so relaxing! The Lord of Misrule bath bomb would have to be up there with my top 5 bath bombs! The popping candy adds an element of fun to the bath room!
$6.90 for 100g
Oh my goodness this bath bomb is amazing! I can’t believe that I never tried it out last year!! The Cocoa Butter and Fair Trade Vanilla makes it feel like you are being wrapped in a soft and warm bear hug!
Yog Nog Ballistic
$7.90 for 170g
You Nog is another bath bomb that is up in my top 5! I really loved the soap version when I tried it last year so I was super excited to see it in bath bomb form! The spicy cloves, soya yoghurt, ylang ylang and toffee scented bubbles make it feel like you are bathing in Christmas candy!
$12.50 for 200g
Holly go-lightly has to be my all time favourite Christmas product! I feel like the Lime Oil, Patchouli Oil and Cinnamon Leaf Oil create a scent that just embodies a traditional Christmas scent to me! It’s perfect for getting you in the Christmas spirit and leaves you glowing with its silver sparkles! I always buy a couple of these each year and what would be more perfect is if I could find this scent in a candle!
5 Golden Rings
$12.50 for 90g
To be honest I wouldn’t say that the 5 golden rings were amazing other than the sense that they look gorgeous due to the glittering gold. I don’t think they create as many bubbles as other bubble bars but the bubbles do smell delicious exhaust of the vanilla!
$8.50 for 100g
This is such a sweet-smelling bubble bar as it mimics the scent of the Rockstar soap. I haven’t had a chance to use this one yet either but I’m thinking I may gift it to a friends in not sure if I like the scent or not.
$9.50 for 100g
I don’t think my inner Scrooge ever comes out at Christmas but I love smell of the dark liquorice in these bubbles! And any bath that turns purples is a sure winner for me.
$12.50 for 100g
Each of these we Santa shaped bar’s are so unique and cute! I’m saving this wee fella for my Christmas Eve bath.
Shower Gels and Jellies
Lord of Misrule
$13.50 for 100g
I really love the scent of this as it is just like its bath bomb counterpart so I’ve bought two of these! One for me and one for a friend who likes to play the fool a bit.
Twilight and The Comforter
As soon as I popped open these wee gems I fell in love with the scents instantly! The Comforter has a rich fruity perfume that I like to use before going out, while Twilight is very rich in Lavender and Tonka which is perfect for night-time use.
Both of these beauties are only available to buy in gift packs. (You can get both in the Comfort and Joy Christmas gift.)
Snow Fairy and Rose Jam
$12.90 for 100g
I know I talked about Snow Fairy in last year’s Christmas Lush haul so I won’t talk about that one today, other that to say it’s so sweet! However Rose Jam is my new number one! I can’t believe I didn’t try this out earlier because it is so amazing and not as over powering as snow fairy. I have kind of become a bit obsess with all the Rose scents now.
Santa’s Belly Jelly
$8.50 for 90g
Santa’s Belly is inspired by the scent of mulled wine. The red jelly belly is filled with star anise infusion, fresh apple juice, red wine and a crisp apple fragrance.
More Body Products
Reindeer Rock Soap
$8.50 for 100g
I love that Lush has based the design of Reindeer Rock soap on the Scandinavian ancient rock carvings. Last year I even saw a pregnant reindeer on the round of soap in-store. It has almost the same scent as the Comforter shower gel with Bergamot and Cypress Oil. It’s also really visually appealing as it has a bit of a pink sparkle to it from the Raspberry Crush Sparkle Dust and Snowflake Lustre. It’s almost too pretty to use but I have a couple of 100g blocks of it so I must use it soon!
Baked Alaska Snowball Soap
$8.90 per 100 g
The Baked Alaska soap is glorious! It’s a real citrusy Christmas scent, which I absolutely love, with Organic Lemon Myrtle, Grapefruit and Ylang ylang oil.It always leaves my skin feeling super refreshed and toned!
Salt and Peppermint Bark Scrub
$16.90 for 100g
Peppermint is another of my favourite scents so when the Salt and Peppermint Bark scrub was released I immediately put it in my basket. It is inspired by the American sweet treat of peppermint bark. With over half of the solid bar being made of salt, along with the Cocoa butter and capuacu butter will soften your skin and get rid of all those dead skin cells at the same time.
Santa Baby Lip Tint
$11.90 for 80g
I bought the Santa Baby Lip Scrub last year, promptly misplaced it in my room and didn’t find it again til September this year. It is the perfect Christmasy red lip colour and it doesn’t transfer as much as your typical lipstick. Santa Baby Lip tint is made with cherries, dates, Fair Trade shea butter, carrot oil, and a cinnamon-sweet, cola-flavoured taste of Christmas! Super festive and will definitely feature in this year’s Christmas makeup look!
The Icing on the Cake Roulade
$13.50 for 100g
This is a brand new product for this year and the mention of roulade really spiked my interest. With the sweet, creamy almond milk, chestnut puree roulade, fresh orange, lime and lemon peel, and Fair Trade organic cocoa butter it is super moisturising and makes your skin glow. To use it all you have to do is lather on skin as you would with soap in the shower.
Nightwing Shower Jelly
This dark one was one of the Limited edition Halloween products and you can probably see why! It is a shower jelly in the shape of a bat! Just be warned, if they bring it out next year and you happen to pick it up, don’t be surprised if your hands are stained black after use! I added it in here just for a bit of fun!
Celebrate Body Lotion
$ 37.90 for 225G
This has got to be the most expensive Christmas product I purchased but it is worth every cent! Celebrate is rich and wonderfully soothing, the cocoa butter and almond oil really do replenish and moisturise your skin, while the Brazilian orange oil and lime oil tones the skin and lifts your spirits. I love to use this after getting out of the shower and before bed.
Fairy Dust Dusting Powder
$14.90 for 100g
All you need is faith, trust and a little Fairy Dust for the party season! This super sweet-smelling pink sparkling dust weirdly enough makes you feel fresh and read to go out for the night! Another interest use (which I tried last night) is to sprinkle a bit on your bedsheets with it to send you into a world of sweet dreams! Now that is taking sweet dreams to another level!
So there you have it! This is a part of my wee Lush Christmas Collection. What Christmas items have you bought from Lush, or what are you wanting to try?
