I realised today that I never posted pictures from my Hanmer Springs Girls Weekend, so here a a few pictures. I had an amazing and rejuvenating weekend with my friends and we managed to do the whole no technology. It really was a great way to start off my study break. We did al sorts of fun and weird things like going to the pools, our own yoga class, boards games and charades, walks around the township, a little bit of shopping and we even managed to squeeze in a nice we walk up Conical Hill. (Well we got about halfway) Hanmer Springs is a wonderful place to go for a Girls weekend Getaway and we had a brilliant time in each others company.
The rest of my study break wasn’t too uneventful. I had a wonderful……birthday (getting my hair done at my salon, then movies with my good friend and finishing with a lovely home-cooked dinner with the family).
I had to finish off some assignments, which was rather boring, work at the rugby (and the Crusaders won!) and even became an actress for an afternoon. (Not really, I was just an extra in a short film for a uni assessment for a friend).
I ended my break with a trip down to Ashburton to visit my cousin for the weekend and had a marvelous time. It had been almost a year since I last had seen her so it was great just to be able to spend some time together and catching up.
Well I had better go and continue on with my study for the night. For all you university students, what did you get up to over your break? And if you aren’t at university at the moment let me know in the comments what you are looking forward to doing over your next holiday!
