Good Tidings everyone!!
It is the fifth day of December and I am officially allowed to start singing and playing Christmas Carols without anyone telling me to shut up. (Even though I have been humming them to myself since the start of November!)
Today I thought I would throw in the first of my Christmas projects for this Christmas season. My aim is to make as many presents, decorations and other Christmasy things as I can through DIY projects. Yesterday I made all of my Christmas cards (by hand) with some awesome card making things that I picked up from the Warehouse. I bought the Rosies Cardmaking bits and pieces on a buy 2 get the 3rd free deal so I only ended up spending $13! Which is pretty good when it comes to making your own card. Admittedly I went back and bought some pre-made cards for a few extra people who I needed to send cards to, so I have a total of 30 cards to send!
Anyway you can pretty much see pictures above the different things I used to make my cards
My tools for the project were:
-Rosies Easy Cardmaking pad ($8.00 from the Warehouse)
-Rosies Cardstock stickers ($5.00 from the Warehouse)
-Rosies Diecut shapes ($5.00 from the Warehouse)
-Craft glue and glue stick
-3D craft tape
-Glitter gel pen
-Normal ball point pen
I think it took me about 2 and a half hours to make the 20 cards, but i was watching a movie as I made them, and i had dinenr in between. Next up for me is writing in them and sending them off before the 10th of December! So why not take a look below at the finished cards and tell me what you think!
How far along are you with your Christmas cards? Do you even send Christmas cards?
