Earlier last month you may remember that I posted about the beginning of my Cruelty-Free Beauty Journey. Not long after that I started looking into some on the Cruelty-Free beauty companies in New Zealand and met the wonderful Stephanie Peacock. Stephanie is the owner of Bossy Cosmetics and a huge supporter of Cruelty-free beauty in New Zealand.
Bossy Cosmetics sell some pretty amazing stuff like makeup brushes, coffee scrubs, brush cleanser and hair extensions. Their coffee scrub and brushes are quite popular among New Zealand Bloggers so you can probably tell that I was quite excited to receive the Bossy Cosmetics Stippling brush and the Eye/Nose 3 pack of brushes.*
To start with I received the brushes in the mail only 2 mail days after Stephanie contacted me. That is some darn fast shipping from Taupo to Christchurch!! As soon as I opened the package I was delighted by the cute wrapping of the brushes. She also includes a little black bow ring in every order.
There are 3 brushes in the Eye/Nose set which includes one each of a flat top, rounded top and angled brush. Both the stippling brush and these eye/nose brushes are pink handled with a beautiful gold detailing. The brush bristles are a dark brown on the lower ends and white on the top of the bristles. The bristles are also synthetics which means they are cruelty-free and super-duper soft!! When they first arrived in the mail I pretended to apply my make up with them just to feel that brilliant softness against the skin on my face!
The stippling brush is great for applying my liquid foundation as it blends it out to a very flawless looking finish. I also use it to blend everything on my face after applying blush, highlight and contour. I like to use the rounded top eye brush to apply eye shadow to the crease of my eye and then blend it out with the flat top eye brush. The angled eye brush is great if contouring your nose, but I also use it, when wanting to create a smokey eye, to applying a light amount of shadow under my lower lash line. The angle of the brush fits perfectly against the angle of my nose and eye.
I was so amazed by the quality of these brushes and their affordability that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on more of Bossy’s products and made an order the same week! I will be writing a little haul post and reviews on those products too.
So are you a Bossy girl? I want to hear if you have tried any of Bossy Cosmetics products and what you think!!
If you haven’t tried any before then watch out for next weeks Bossy Post where I fell you about more of their amazing products!!
*Products supplied as a gift and reviewing them as I love them so much!!
