Hey there! How long have you been reading The Spanish Bluebell? If you are new here, welcome! If you are one of the old hats who has been around since before the name change, welcome back!!!
You old hats may already know this but I am a huge Disney fan. Always have been, always will be. I’m even watching Fantasia as I write this.
So when of the beautiful #brunchclub ladies, Natalie from The Moon Moth, suggested a Disney Collaboration I jumped straight at the chance! I love the Disney Princesses and their style.
For this collaboration I decided to do a makeup tutorial inspired by a mixture of Cinderella’s hair, use yellow/gold to represent Belle and pink for Aurora (Sleeping Beauty).
To start prepping my skin I used the LUSH Tea Tree Water spray to tone my skin and even out the texture. This also helps to settle any pimples on my face. Then I used the Body Shop Vitamin E moisturiser to put some moisture back into my skin and give it a luminescent glow. Next I used a small amount of the Australis Primer and the Moisture Mist Pore Primer to make my skin smooth and look flawless like a Disney princess.
Using the Bossy Cosmetics Stippling brush I bugged my foundation onto my skin. (Nars Sheer Glow in Santa Fe). Next I applied the Collection Cosmetics concealer in Medium Warm to any blemishes and under my eyes. I buffed this in with my Real Techniques buffing brush as it gives a more airbrushed finish. To prep my eyes I used a small amount of the Essence Cosmetics I ❤️ Stage Eyelid Primer and used my ring finger to blend it over my whole eyelid, up to my eyebrows. Then to contour my face I used my Australis AC on Tour palette. I used the middle shade on the bottom (a dark brown/grey) and my contour brush from my Bossy Cosnetics brush Kit. You only need a small amount of the powder on your brush, by make sure you blend it out really well. Then I used the banana shade under my eyes to wake me up and to set everywhere I had used concealer. I also used the sparkly light shade in the top right as a highlighter on the top of my cheekbones.
I filled in my eyebrows to be quite bold and rounded with the Billion Dollar Brows Universal Eyebrow Pencil. Then I combed through them a bit with the little brow comb on the other end to soften the look slightly. After that I used the e.l.f blusher in Twinkle Pink and applied it with the Bossy Cosmetics Blush Brush. For the eye look Ibused a combination of the BYS pink palette pictured above, and a bright yellow shadow from the Sleek Limited Edition Rio Rio palette.
I applied the darker colour from the BYS palette to define my crease with the Bossy Cisnetics Eye Blender brush. Then I used an flat eye shadow brush to pack on the bright pink colour to the outer half of my eyelid. Using the other sid rid this brush I packed on the lighter ink colour on to the inner side of my eyelid and blended it into the middle. Using the Bossy Eye Sponge I packed on the yellow shadow into my inner corner of my eye near the tear duct and also brushed it underneath my eyebrow as a highlight. With a white e.l.f eye widener pencil I filled in the inner half of my water line. I then filled in the outer half of my waterline using the Bossy Slanted eye brush and the yellow eyeshadow. I then applied a thick coat of Mascara using the Rimmel London Lash Extender Mascara.
For the lips I used one layer of the Australis Velourlips Matte Liquid Lipstick in LUN-DUN. I then patted a bit of the yellow eyeshadow into the middle of both lips, with my finger, to create an ombre effect.
Finished the whole look of with a Cinderella inspired faux updo (as my hair is too short how to do a proper one). Add a gold or silver ribbon, so pearl and you are good to go with this Disney Princess Inspired look!!
