Well I thought it was about time that Updated you all on how my completion of goals for my 101 things in 1001 days list. If you have been checking back to the page you would have seen that a few things have been crossed out and a few new things are in progress. Anyway here is a bit of a summary of what I have completed so far.
2# Get a new passport
Who knew passports could be so hard to get, but to get one was a must to be able to complete a good chunk of my goals for this challenge! There was a bit of a stressful moment where I received a letter 2 weeks out from my Aussie trip telling me my application had been paused. Something along the lines of problems with a damaged photo and payment not going through. Luckily that was sorted and I received my passport a few days later! (Thank God, otherwise I wouldn’t be here in Melbourne right now!!
5# Go to Australia and #12 Travel internationally with a friend
Well seeing as I am currently sitting down writing this at my Aunty’s house with my good friend Ro sitting next to me I think I can check these two off my list! We’ve had a busy day exploring another part of Melbourne so be sure to check back in a couple of weeks for posts about our trip!
38# Try out eyelash extensions
I tried out eyelash extensions for the very first time when I was in Hamilton in December last year Let’s just say it didn’t go quite to plan which is why I have not written a post about it. I intend to give them another go sometime this year. I do have to say I loved the effect for the first couple of days but yeah…that’s another story. You can actually see the difference between the photo above (after lashes applied) and the photo below of me the day before with my god-daughter.
63# Take photos in a photobooth
97# Meet my god-daughter
This was definitely a week that I treasure very deeply! I was finally able to go meet my god-daughter at the end of November last year. Although our first meeting was in the car on the way down to Hamilton, she totally captured my heart!! Can’t wait to see her again later this year and see how she has grown!
100# Go to a wedding
I went to the first wedding of my “adult life” just before Christmas. Well I say this as I went to weddings when I was younger but this was one were I actually go an invitation addressed to me! It was a beautiful wedding and I had a lot of fun taking a few sneaky selfies with my best friends afterwards.
